Picking up the bass again

Hello all. I played bass in my bedroom and in a few bands during my teens and early 20s. Then what with life changing and all that my bass ended up in my parents loft for about ten years.

A couple of weeks ago I got it out and the joy I've had from just playing a few things I remember and learning a few new ones has been amazing. Loving it.

Need to put on some new strings and get on making up for lost time!

I'm sure there's a wealth of knowledge on here and look forward to learning more and more.

Cheers.

Welcome aboard...as alyctes says stay away from the For sale boards - I had 2 basses when I joined here - I have 12 now...

Lots of returning players whose lives got in the way of playing - now the [s]drains on their resources[/s] kids have left home have time and cash to rediscover themselves.
