Ibanez BTB1605-DTF Gift Horse?

I've been offered an Ibanez BTB1605 DTF (pictured above) for £550. I played it today and it is unmarked, like new, in it's original case. I see that they currently retail for more than £1200 new. Am I missing something? Is this the bargain that it appears to be or has the bottom fallen out of the Ibanez Premium bass resale value?

Even if you don't like it you should be able to shift at a profit.

That's what I was thinking

Isn't this the same model from this thread?

Still a bargain at £550 in the condition you describe! Well done!

It is the same model but in the latest 'DTF' (Deep Twilight Flat) finish. Guitar Guitar, GAK and Richtone all have the BTB1605DTF listed at £1239 so I thought I'd got a stonking deal. £550 is still a good deal but not quite the killer deal I thought I got whilst DV247 are selling them at that price :(
