pburrows Posted December 21, 2016 Share Posted December 21, 2016 Hi guys Hopefully a simple question, but I have a gig on 30 December and will need to run a DI line to a PA as well as my cab for backline. I have not tried this before. I use a Genz Benz Streamliner 600 which does have a connection available for DI which I think will work OK but I am not sure if I need to use a DI box as well. Muzz Posted December 21, 2016 Share Posted December 21, 2016 I had a Streamliner 900 for a long time - you don't need a DI box, just run straight out of the back of the head to the PA. bazzbass Posted December 22, 2016 Share Posted December 22, 2016 It would be a good idea to test the DI if you have a mixer handy, to check it doesn't crackle and pop before the day.
