Free set of la Bella 750g strings

First of all, sorry if this breaks any forum rules. If I need to post this in classifieds then I will.

I have a set of la Bella deep talking 750 g strings. Gold white nylon tape wound.

I had them very briefly on my Brook acoustic bass when I was trying out different strings. I decided they were far too light for me. Bear in mind they are 50 to 105, they certainly feel a lot lighter. I would have gone for a heavier set- in fact I think Brook have a set in their workshop waiting for me, but since the 760 set is massively thicker, I don't really want to go the whole hog and widen the nut slots. I have since settled on D addario EXP phosphor bronze. Very nice!

Anyway, the 750g set were on my bass for about a week. Does anyone want them? It would be nice if someone covered my postage expenses but otherwise I am willing to let them go to someone who would like to just try them.

My bass is 34" scale length. The strings were trimmed a bit, but should easily still fit most basses. They are still very good nick.

Perhaps if someone really likes them and makes good use of them they would consider a donation to a cancer charity- I have an old friend this week to the disease.

Ooooooooh, it that an Otter bass? They've always looked so lovely but way out of the "something I could justify" league. I've got a Tamar 6-string made by Simon and Andy in 1999 which I simply adore. They are great builders making some fantastic instruments!

Not quite an otter- it is their new Gibson J200 body shape.

Hope that picture worked.

Yes, this j200 style body is, I think, going to replace the Okement. Si and I decided to call this one the Lowman (which is a river somewhere I. The south west- Cornwall I think). Not sure if Si has gone with this as an official model. The label still says Otter, but between the boys and I this is a Lowman.

The top is Engelman, the back and sides are Bubinga, and the neck walnut. Thentuners are hipshot, having a bit of a false start with some absolutely crap Schaller da Vincis.

Here is another gratuitous picture
