GisserD Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 Hi Basschatters, i recently set myself a task of writing a song in the style of on of my favourite bands at the moment "Vulfpeck" I thought id post it up her and see what you guys think from a songwriting perspective.... I feel like the drums could be a bit looser, and should maybe go to a ride for the run out, and the rhythm on the main keys part could be a bit more interesting. And I'm glad you liked it It's all programmed midi parts except from the guitars and bass so it sounds a bit too regimented... like on the beat straight.... What's the word for that? No feel??? They are also so accessible form a fan viewpoint. They post demos of their own songs. they reply to fans on youtube etc. not many other bands would find the time to do that.
