Line level input - Aguilar Octamizer

I want to try something but I'm a little too scared to do it until I know it's safe. Basically I'd like to run the line output of my Voicelive Touch 2 (vocal looper & effects unit) through some of the effects on my bass pedalboard. I know that my TC electronic pedals will play nicely with line level but I don't want to fry the insides of my Octamizer. I'd like to try it with my newly acquired Source Audio Aftershock too.

How risky is this?

Would this do the trick? http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/JHS-Pedals-Little-Black-Amp-Box/1C69?origin=product-ads&gclid=CIa-856j49ECFe4y0wodIekMTQ
I guess all this does is attenuate volume and doesn't change the impedance of the signal but would it suffice?

It would do half the trick, as you mention.
It might sound ok, but might not sound quite right due to the impedance mismatch.
Might as well put the £39 towards the actual thing you need....a re-amp box.
If you're handy with a soldering iron, there's quite a good kit available, easy too:

Assuming it's a 'pot in a box' then it will change the impedances - both the input and output impedances. Values depend on the pot value and it's setting. Same applies to passive volume control on a bass. Should be okay though with a lowish impedance source and feeding into highish impedance of a pedal etc.
On the other hand - could you just turn down the output level on the source ?
No real danger of damage with line level signals.
