Epifani - Acoustic Image - Glockenklang

I am looking around for new head amp small size. Actually it should be like hot back up of my thunderfunk 750.

Now I saw some advertisement and choice would be between:

Epifani ul501 - already had few years ago, love that even if i sold it due to gas abouth other. Any way i can consider to take it again even if i believe that thunder is much better.

Acoustic Image Focus 1 - never tried one but I am curious to see if it works also with electric bass as famous is for double bass. Then with DB i mainly play with bow but it can happen a gig in a quartett for swing.

Glockenklang Blue Sky - this is the most expensive choice (almost 2 times than others in local used market). It looks more hi end definitive solution.

Any advise about above options or new entry?

You haven't given much info about your requirements so technically you're going to get a list of amps that people own :-) but, I recommend you check out the HandBox R-400.

It's a great BG head, and I'm aware of at least one DB user who loves it.

thanks, I didn't know HandBox, it looks great then I will consider it.
Techinically what can I say I based my research on budget available at now, small size head amp and possible avoiding D class.

I found the glockenklang sounded very dry and flat. Not my thing at all.

I owned the Epifani but found it to sound very wide and difficult to EQ for different rooms. Nice core sound though.

thanks mate. Any experience with AI?
I am also giving up to Glock due to high price out of the budget.

I've played through numerous AI combos on jam sessions. I tried to play a couple of times with my P bass (because the house bassist's upright was set up like Mingus would've had his!) and I didn't like them.

My suggestion would be to find a second hand Genz Benz shuttle 6.2.

I had the 3.0-10T combo and I regret selling it. Lovely sound.
