Anyone here heard from a user who joined yesterday called GEARMANS?

They mailed me saying they had what I was looking for from my wanted post. Asked for me to email them. All sounds very sketchy. See below.

I thought so. I mailed them for sh*ts and giggles, he/she sent me an equally badly worded mail back with a pic of a different amp that he wants to sell me...

Please send me all your money in return for nothing. Oh ok, hold me back... LOL

I am a mod on a motoring forum and this is becoming scarily common, join one minute then instantly post 'what's this worth, I think it's worth £x' with x being half the real value, then wait for people to pm them thinking they are getting a bargain and instead they get scammed, or as in here replying to wanted ads in a similar manner. Some weeks we have stopped 20-30, so at least it seems the music forums aren't as badly hit for the moment and long may that continue.

roman andrea is associated with the account [email protected]. supposedly sends the goods and can not prove an evidence of shipping. It is a German citizen living in spain. I paid him the entire amount for the goods and he first wanted 100 euros and 200 euros now even claiming that there are problems with shipping. he cheated me. got money and charges not gotten. Tomorrow I will be reported to the international law enforcement crime.

Is it not possible to make the items wanted section invisible until after a member has made a certain number of postings ?

Disappointing to see people making stupid jokes when someone is trying to scam people, and has succeeded at least once by the looks of it.
