I've just bought a Sire V7 off someone here but when i've tested it out when the blend is set to 50/50 theres a bigdrop in volume and a very nasty hollow/nasal tone with very little bass. I've had quite a few jazz basses and have never experienced this before. I've done a quick soundclip here - the order is neck - both - bridge. I'd appreciate any advice before I approach the seller and consider consulting my guitar tech. I found a wiring diagram for the sire and the bridge pickup was wired the wrong way round. Ive resoldered (first time I've used a soldering iron since I was at school lol!) it correctly and everything is fine now!
