I was thinking about using one of those sheet music stands that clamp onto a mic stand. Pros are that I won't have to carry a big stand around. Cons are I probably won't be able to have my pedalboard in front of it and I need it there.

Any recommendations?

I've got the A4 sized Stagg version. Currently on Amazon at 13.99.
It's good for paper, not sure if it'll be strong enough for your needs but perhaps worth a punt at that price.

Get a proper stand. One plummet to the floor and you won't have a Basstation any more. Not worth the risk.

Is there room to fit a mic-stand adaptor to bottom of the case?
