I'm wondering if these two amps are comparable.? Or maybe a TC electronics comparable head. Any thoughts.? Painy Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) From what I gathered when I looked into buying my own AG500, the TH500 is supposed to sound quite different. Wouldn't give you the option of buying second hand for a while at least I know but the new AG700 would seem to be the obvious solution if you're looking for the same sound in a smaller package. Lozz196 Posted March 13, 2017 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Yep the TH is warm/vintage, the AG is much more modern-focused sounding. From what I`ve read the AG is the least Aggie-sounding Aggie amp.
