Ruck Posted March 24, 2017 Share Posted March 24, 2017 So it appears the tweeter in a friends Markbass practise amp has developed a fault. Disconnecting it seems to eliminate a horrible fuzz sound. The make is a Le Son 2.5" x 2.5 " High Efficiency Dome Tweeter from the black speaker model of the MiniMark 802 250w at 4 Ohms. I cant seem to find a straight replacement. BassBunny Posted March 24, 2017 Share Posted March 24, 2017 The majority of people who have a problem with MarkBass Piezo Tweeters just disconnect them, (me included). There is plenty of evidence on BassChat of them causing issues and quite frankly the view is that they don't do anything anyway. I can't tell the difference with or without except the hiss has gone.
