Due to new work commitments a double bassist position is available in a mature and established band with a worldwide cult following, international gig history and large discography.
Punk, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Swing and Blues riffs are the order of the day in the all original material. Backing vocals also required.
We have equipment available if the right person doesn't have their own, and recordings/coaching for the material which is usually 'outside the box' are available.
Based in the North East but active nationwide and in Europe (possibly further), distance is no object for the right person and within reason ie we are prepared to meet halfway for rehearsals taking an hour or so drive to meet in the middle and do full day 'cramming' sessions to maximise that.
Most activities take place around weekends so fits around the day job. You could expect to play anything from a bar floor to a few hundred people in a concert hall, rally or festival.
We don't care what you wear (within reason!) or how young/old or experienced you are, what is important is focus, team attitude, ability, reliability and a long term commitment as gigs can be booked up to a year away in some cases.

We must stress this is not to be viewed as a money earner, we never pay to play but any proceeds not spoken for in expenses go back into funding projects such as videos, recording and merchandise.

Please get in touch if this is of interest, and please genuine interest only no timewasters.

Ta!
