There are 2 volumes and one tone and it's very controllable although to me, there isn't a lot of difference between the two sounds but then I'm a bit mutton. Plenty of power from the single MM style pickup and it weighs a reasonable 9 lbs. Fit and finish is as good as any other bass in the £500 - 600 range save for the fret edges which are not all perfect, that said, it took 10 minutes to sort. All in all superb value for £103 plus a tenner delivery... Last year I needed a fretless for a gig and knew it wouldn't get a lot of use so I bought the fretless jazz they make. It is incredibly good and the body wood has an amazing grain and one of the best sunburst spray jobs I have ever seen. I make every guitarist/bass playing friend of mine check it out and their jaws it the floor when I tell them it was £120 delivered from Germany.
