Behringer CT100 - anyone use one ?

I thought i'd try and be smart for a change, and blagged one of these cable testers.

Reviews said they were fab.

I'm sure they are but i find it difficult to read what the displays mean when you test a cable. The manual is about 3" x 4" and about 3 pages. Doesnt really help

I've got one of the old type. The only thing that tends to go wrong with them are dirty switches. At that price you can't go much wrong. You do need to be clear in your mind the connections you are testing, that is to say, what connection should be there and what connections shouldn't. I fancy one myself at that price.

Hey granpa, well it was just a plain old jack to jack speaker cable ( not guitar cable ) and about 7 lights lit up

Tip this, sleeve that, ring something.

I thought i would just get a green light with a thumbs up sign
