Laser Engraving?

Recommended Posts

Anybody here do laser engraving, or know of a supplier of said process?

I am repairing a nice Tacoma EKK9 acoustic, kindly damaged for me by DHL (big hand for DHL!!)

The headstock break is all but invisibly repaired, but the rosewood headstock veneer was destroyed.

I have a new piece of rosewood, which I need to have engraved with the Tacoma logo. This is so that the logo, which is made up of tiny plastic letters, can be inlaid. See the attached images.

Any thoughts, or advice re laser engraving? I have seen this done on a Telecaster clone on some American site, and it looked very good. I'm surprised it's not used more widely.

As it happens I used to work at the next unit along from there - although I don't think they were there at the time.
