Good value gig bag that could hold an Aguilar th350 head

Big thumbs up here for a Protection Racket deluxe bass case. Rigid foam case, plenty of protection, and big pockets (especially on the deluxe version) which will easily hold your Aguilar plus a load of extra stuff you might want to take with you.

The Gator ProGo cases sound similarly functional and I've heard good things about them too. Either of the two I've suggested will cost less than the equivalent Mono bag!

So...had a look again and both are a little on the pricey side for my budget.

I know it's worth looking after your bass but I'm not that precious (it's a jazz squire VM and not Jacos original fretless Jazz). Just need something to keep the dust off and fit the amp head in.

Any other suggestions anyone on less expensive gig bags?

This may be the ticket. I've got one - but can't remember for the life of me if the pocket is padded or not. But can get some dimensions for you later to see if the Aggie would fit in there.

do you think the front pocket has this kind of depth in it?

Hi Dan,

Try here: http://www.flightcasewarehouse.co.uk/type/product.asp?item=gorilla-lightweight-utility-padded-310-x-320-x-190mm-bag-10100-11178

There are other types of solid and soft bags on the site.
