Colours to go with roasted maple

To long to read:

As above really

Long version:
Having another bitsa made up, active medium scale jazz bass, will have hotshot B style bridge, some lightweight tuners and dimarzio model Js (unless I find something else I really like ideally musicman single coils), really want something different this time as I've had ebony finger boards for around 5 years now. So going for roasted maple, like the look and the idea of it having a bright tone too, just bot sure on what colour to go for.

I've been really into Inca silver or lake placid blue lately and have owned neither, but like the idea of having no pick guard on as an option and not sure what either of these would look like with a dark maple fingerboard.

Probably not too into black or some shade of white though

Here's a Sadowsky affectionately known as "Roasted Chicken". Might just give you some ideas (or hunger pangs...lol)
