NBD! PRS EB IV

Well, was looking for something very modern and possibly a status...

But I've had PRS feelings for a while...

Always fancied one - spec'd this bass (except with bird inlays) when I worked for Dawsons. They gave a wait time of 12 months and a trade price was even a bit rich...

This was after I demo'd one in sunburst/rosewood.

First time I've seen one in blue matteo ever.

So I got it bought.

Think they were really cool and underrated.

Light, just got some strings on it (trying 40-95 Dean Markley) and gave it a tweak.

Only minor complaint is the grub screw to lock the saddles seems to be a little reluctant at the minute so will have a closer look when kids are in bed.

Sounds lovely in passive mode and the preset preamp feature with passive tone still in the circuit works well.

Sounds a bit like a darker Marcus Miller Jazz.
