Thanks, but yikes, a tad more expensive than I was thinking!

LOL. What did you have? I can't find anything in the UK.

Sold in 30 mins. Not exactly "tear drop". But not far off. But it bumped your thread. :D

That's very nice but, as you say, still lots of £. Plus not sure my bass would fit!

Yep, Hiscox are great, I just fancy something with a plush lining rather than their pads.

Yes, that's nice, and the shape's fine too. My bass is a singlecut though, so wouldn't fit in that.

This one is described as having a "a plush lined interior." I've got a Hiscox with plush lining too - like the one I sold, but Hiscox.

This is mine. I've never had a bass complain it wasn't comfortable.

I have. If only they were 2cm longer.
I bought a Gator GPE case, which compared to Hiscox is pretty much built like a carrier bag. The Hiscox is just a tiny bit too short.

They make a larger version which, by coincidence, is teardrop shaped.

Internal guitar case dimensions:
Length 1245mm 49 "
Lower Bout 393mm 15 1/2"
Upper Bout 337mm 13 1/4"
Body Length 558mm 22 "
Body Depth 70mm 2 3/4"

I prefer gigbags most of the time but I do have a peardrop guitar hardcase from brandoni music which is a nice solid case with tolex covering. its currently in the loft with a casio midi guitar inside.

There's a similr bass version and they're pretty cheap at £45 http://www.brandoniguitars.co.uk/cases.asp
