Hmm... Not as easy as I thought. Still, after some reflection and a couple of false starts, here's...

Slow, Slow, Quick Quick Stop. ...

... for your edification and delight. Enjoy. :)

Last night I build my DOOM Array* in Reaper and really want to use it on a track but it's absolutely not suitable for that pic!

* You're asking what's that? check out Mick Gordon's video where he talks about the effects rig he set up to make the sounds for the DOOM 2016 soundtrack. http://gdcvault.com/...DOOM-Behind-the - he talks about the rig around 17 mins in but the entire thing is well worth watching if you're even remotely interested in sound design.

I have mine very nearly nailed now , it took a while to find a way in to it but I am just waiting for my summer cold to pass as my singing sounds a tad naff with a blocked nose, honest, my only reservation is a blocked nose

Yeah count me in! Be interested to hear about that :)

I haven't played any of the recent DOOM games but I was weaned on the original back in the '90s, which had a really great soundtrack (co-produced by Nine Inch Nails if I remember correctly... or was that Quake?).

Here's my entry. The idea that I got from the pic was that's the final move of the dance. The "Intro" of this track is meant to be the ending of the song they danced to & this is the sounds from that suspension, dipping into a completely different world.

https://soundcloud.c...xmix/she-danced

Had to quickly finish it as I'm now off. Adios.

Cool I'll chuck something together over the weekend.

It was Quake that featured NIN. They had a nine inch nailgun in the game that shot nine inch nails.

I suspect I won't have time yet again to produce even an irrelevant ditty (sorry Douglas!).
Spending all my spare muso time rehearsing with new funk rock band; they actually want to be tight, which is a new one on me!
Still, found time to do a bit last week with other band - the Badass Weeds - here's a rough-ish mix especially for the delectation and delight of Douglas, but it's too long for compo entry... Still, enjoy, or not!

No, that's too cruel, and really unjustified. There is, somewhere in the Universe, on a far-flung planet, a place for music of the sort. There, Capt. Beefheart is revered, the lyrics of Doors tracks are fully understood and Canned Heat drones resound endlessly around the vast plains. Meals are taken out on the gun emplacement, thus avoiding unnecessary queuing for a seat on the quarterdeck. No anger, no violence, no angst, just the incessant driving forward (or not...) of the musical boundaries that encircle that globe. Yes, it is in rapid expansion; inevitably our dear planet Earth will become, in time (probably 4/4...), engulfed in the raucous circus of it all, and we'll thank Lenny for having brought it to our ears first.
Or not.
Mighty meaty, matey; thanks for sharing. B)

I've got a little ditty on the go. The picture instantly reminded me of my old neighbours and all their stories about their dancing days. Almost done. Hope to post soon.

Due to weather, I thought I'd see what I could do in 2 1/2 hours... The answer is this little bit of weirdness, especially for our ex-pat members with a love of the accordion!

And it's been fiddled with some more now, link is in the future!
Though I suspect that to our Gallic friends would think it sounds like une vache Espagnole...
