Does anybody know where I can get one of the pick ups from the Pino signature? Also does anybody know where can I get just a bridge pick up of the Custom shop 60s Jazz set? Thanks in advance! project_c Posted August 12, 2017 Share Posted August 12, 2017 I swapped out the P pickup on mine and left the J alone, I just put in a Quarter Pounder which I know isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I found the tone a bit thin for the stuff I play and missed the heavy thump of the QP. Sounds good and it hasn't thrown off the balance. Curious about other options though, I still find that the j side can be a bit upper mid heavy and bright. (I play jazz with dead tapewounds so bright is not what i'm after, but I still like a tone with weight and punch).. What are you not liking about the original pickups?
