OK,

Before my head I have a Hartke VXL, Cali76G compressor and Two Notes LeBass.
All great pedals.

Used it with a PJB Bass Cub for a combo.

I also used it with a Darkglass M900 amp which again was good, but I am playing much cleaner now and am using a Form Factor Audio Bi1000.
This is through a Barefaced Supertwin.

A friend of mine has a VM4 which has Delano's and if you want a hifi sound these are a decent bet. Funnily enough, he quite likes my Sandberg pups!

I would take your bass and cab to a local music store and trynout some heads, then you know that is the only thing changing to help make your mind up.

If you think the Puma is a bit polite, maybe avoid EICH amps as they are made by the same person, he just split to do his own thing.
Another friend with a VM4 uses a Genzler Magellan, great amp, he is very happy.

Defo try a few heads out with your gear.

DR are great strings, I have their DDTs.

One last thing, has it had a proper set up?
Is the pick up at the right height to get the most out of it?

My bass is now perfectly set up. My luthier don't recomend me put the jazz pickup, he think my bass is really good sound.
At the moment I don't change nothing. But still in my kind the idea heheh.
I saw this bass in internet:

It looks great, but fender necks Are not so good as my Sandberg
