This is a truly lovely piece of kit that just ain't getting played through ... time to move it on.

It's a 400W head with channels for electric and acoustic instruments, allowing you to swop instantly (well, almost instantly) between a Fender Precision and a double bass, or between a Wal and a bass uke.

Whatever floats your boat.

It's not a Class D uber-lightweight thingy. It has proper transformers and everything. The amp weighs a bit, but the sound carries that weight when you play.

Here's the full spec from Maruszczyk: https://www.public-p...-basstank-black

It has the usual assortment of funny-shaped holes in the back.

And it comes with this really neat carry case.

I'm really not interested in trusting British couriers with high-quality electronics. Hell, I'm not interested in trusting British couriers with organising a piss-up in a brewery.

I would greatly prefer this to be collection only, either from my office in the West End or from my studio in Harrow. The latter is better, because then you can try it before parting with your hard-earned dosh.

Looks lovely - is it possible to use and blend both channels at once, for example plugging a Wal in via both XLR and jack? (sorry if I missed that on the Public Peace site!)

Cheers
Kev

Plug in two basses simultaneously, one channel each? Yes, I've done that.

Plug one bass into both channels simultaneously? I imagine so, but I've never done it!

No worries Kev, I was going to give it a couple of weeks here and then, if no sale, on to eBay.

As with all my stuff, it would be no great hardship to keep kit as good as this. Trouble is, I downsized my studio by 50% when I moved house, and I haven't yet downsized my stash of basses and amps!
