Bought as I really missed having an active bass, having sold my Aria SB1000...

This is a great bass, and I've loved having it; it's in better condition than some basses I've bought as "new".

The reality is, I've got a white 64 Jazz I use for everything (it's in one of the pictures) and that's why I'd sold the Aria in the first place.

There's another Yamaha up for sale for the same reason - I'm a big fan of Yamaha gear, and I've owned everything from the BB300 up to the TRB5pii so take it as an endorsement!

Love this era of Yamaha, this is a light bass (probably about 8.5lbs) has vol/blend/bass/treble and has got a great sound, balances well and is nice and compact. 24 frets.

Looks great in sunburst - more regularly seen in white and blue.

Relatively new light strings.

No case: shipping at buyers own risk for £15 in U.K.

I've got a Yamaha TRB5 and I can definitely vouch for the quality of Yam basses
This one is an absolutely lovely colour, and looks a great bass for that sort of money
I already have too many, as many of us do lol - but if I was looking for a great value bass, I'd be sorely tempted by this :)

GLWTS

EDIT: PS - really like the look of that semi-acoustic... another bass in a lovely colour :)
