Recommended Posts

For sale ,
Seymour Duncan STC 3 band pre amp , removed from a Warwick FNA Bass . Push / pull volume for "slapsound". This is in full working order. Suggest you get a pro guitar tech to wire up if you are not confident at soldering, as I will not accept responsibility for failure of unit due to faulty wiring .
Needs a stereo jack for switching battery on/off . I will enclose a sheet showing wire colour connections .
As stated , this is in full working order .
Price includes UK Mainland postage .

Hi Pete,

I need a preamp for a Warwick LX4. Mine is a two pickup bass with one P and one J pickup. The pickups are active EMG and are supplied with power from the preamp board. There are currently 4 knobs - volume, blend, bass and treble.

I'm not familiar with the warwick FNA but based on what I've said above, would your preamp suit my LX4?

Thanks in advance.

Frank.

Hi Frank,
The Warwick FNA , is a sigle pickup ( MM Humbucking size - passive ) with a three band ( Treb, Mid, Bass + Push / Pull Vol for "slap" ) but because it is passive , there is no power output from the board .
So the pre amp would not suit your Bass , sorry .

Hi Frank ,
I have in the past fitted Glockenklang , Delano , Nordstrand etc pre amps , but always into Basses that are passive . Why not send EMG an email , stating what you have , and what you need .
I have always found manufacturers very helpfull in these situations .
All the best
Pete
