Old Horse Murphy Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 Just met Shaun to pick up the Lakland Bob Glaub. Possibly the most surreal experience I've ever had picking up a bass!! We finalised the deal this morning and I picked it up this evening from Wincehster Services. The BG is exactly as described and I'm really happy with it. He's a really nice guy and his wife was lovely too. I must admit, at one stage I think they were going to try and take my Dog while I wasn't looking!! Friendly and helpful, not only took a hit on the price of his Markbass cab, but then drove half way across Hampshire in the p**sing down rain to meet me with it. The sort of guy you want to sit down with over several coffees (or beers if one isn't driving) and talk bass.
