Maybe someone knows where there is one on a shop wall I can try, even more interesting would be to try a Dolphin Pro 1 5. poptart Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Tony I had SSII for several years - it was an early ninties model and was excellent. It was heavy at 12lb but had a great neck that is narrow spacing (17mm at the bridge) and tight spacing at the nut (the same as a Thumb 5). Great sound though IMO you need to find an older model as I went into Sound Control recently and tried a new one and it was like a different bass!
