South Wales Bass Bash Cardiff

If you are coming, please print your Avatar and bring it along to stick alongside your name on your name sticker. Alex Claber pointed out that he recognises avatars more than user names and came up with this idea after the SE BB. Good idea! Thanks Alex

Date: Sunday 29th Nov
Donation to cover costs: £10 per person. Any surplus will be split between the Basschat funds and a Cancer charity
Time: 12-5pm with an Earbreak 3-3.30.

What's planned:
We have 3 rehearsal rooms booked.

1pm-3pm Luthier Eltham Jones of Edge Guitars will be in room 3 with a bench and tools. He will do a talk on setups or nuts or something like that of interest to us.
He will be around to offer assistance and answer questions and stuff throughout the afternoon. (but there will be Jammin' in that room after the break)

3.30-4.45 or so, Cardiff based drummer Jon Steele will be in room three for jammin'

Raffle We'll draw it at 4pm in case you have to rush off.
I'd be up for this, can bring bass if you want but im not sure a mexican fender jazz would interest many people, on the other hand my Ibanez EDB 500 is an interesting bass worth trying out maybe.
Generally more people will be interested in the unusual basses and gear than relatively normal stuff.
But bring your MexJazz if you want to try the amps and stuff that show up.
There's no rules on what you bring.

Ha ha, yeah
Be nice to try some Omni's and a few other EUB's. I may bring my Stagg EUB if no one else brings one.

All being well, I should be able to get to this one :)

I'm more than likely going to be on my way to a regular gig in Cardiff Bay ( assuming we haven't been fired by then!) so will have...

Cort Curbow 6 string
Markbass Little Mark II and Traveller 210

Should be able to fit my Ashbory and some pedals in too.

Cheers
Alun
