Calling all Timmy C fans

The band I have recently joined plays a cover of Audioslave's Show Me How To Live. Having listened to it over and over again and also having played it at a few rehearsals now, to me it sounds as though, in the middle 8 (or guitar break Tom Morello style) Tim is dropping down to a Low B which is as I play it and it sounds fine. My question is that I can find no photos on the Audioslave website where he is playing anything other than his 4 string Fender Jazz. Guitar Pro files would have you believe that he was using a four string in Drop D tuning. If this were true, his lowest note would obviously be D not B.

Are there any Timmy C fans out there who can enlighten me.

Cheers - Mark
I know he has one of his Jazzes strung up in BEAD tuning, so that might be what you have to do...
Spot On! He's been using different Jazz Basses with different tunings and of them was tuned BEAD.

Here you have a link with lots of info on Tim's gear... In one of the pics you'll see a Jazz with the neck reversed which he tunes like that.
