Hi Owen,

Just a quick post to say thanks for helping out with the spare saddle for the Gotoh bridge on my Roscoe Beck V. If there's anything I can do in return mate, please just ask.

I doubt that this kind of generosity and support - i.e. offering help to repair a discontinued product that you can't get parts for and wanting no payment in return - for fellow bass colleagues exists on many other musician forums. But it's one of the great things about being a member of the bass community here.. And Owen is a perfect example of it in action.. Brilliant!

Cheers

Nik

He paid as soon as the deal was agreed even though he knew i couldn't post the item
out to him until a few days later.

Cheers

Owen is dead cool.

I bought a bergantino cab from him and decided it wasn't right for me after a few days.
He took it back and gave me a full refund with no hard feelings.

Deal with him in confidence.

Good guy to deal with - very fair & sensible.

Also dangerously good at coming up with innovative swop deals!

That Demeter is now the heart of my rig, Owen. Cheers. :)

Owen seems to be a busy boy in the buying/selling world of bass. I've just sold a mic to him. Dead easy transaction, he wanted the mic, did a bank transfer and i posted it off to him, took two days during the posties strike. Simples. Deal with confidence.
