Rhino 88.com

Hi guys,

Found a few stupidly cheap basses on e-bay from this company rhino 88.

I've never heard of them but for £70 for a brand new bass i had to see if anyone here had any experience or knowledge about them cos it might be worth buying one just to smash up at the end of a gig (providing its good enough to last the gig and sound ok).

Anyway, answers on a post card like usual.

I found it funny that he claims this acoustic also has a "byurtiful head design" (he sounds like a cross between Tim Westwood and Lloyd Grossman )-

Hmmm... the company runs from a mobile number.....but they seem to have a large number of feedback...

Personally, I would proceed with caution !!

I'm sure they're fine but I wouldn't buy just because of video cheesiness.

That's a very good reason in my opinion.

it's not really worth it, if you want a bass for 70 quid then just get one from thomann

same price, much more respectable company, they're actually alright basses too.

+1. I used the HB Jazz Copy yesterday to go busking, and while it didn't sound anywhere near as good as my Warwick, it really surprised me with it's playability, and the tone was acceptable for something that costs little more than a couple of nights out on the town.
