Pbassred Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 The only thing wrong with the very old Yamaha TRB5 was the gloss neck. Since I got my brand new TRB1005 with a mat neck the difference is like chalk and cheese. I also notice a few bruses that I would like to loose. Any ideas about exactly what can be done and how much? Muppet Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 How confident are you in your own handiwork? Some fine wet and dry paper can easily take the gloss off a neck and make it more playable.
