I was hunting around in the loft earlier this week for some vinyl which I'd shoved up there a few years ago and found my old Marshall 3505 Micro Stack, the same as this one...

I'd completely forgotten I owned this, bought it around '89 I think. Not sure what to do with it, I reckon it'd be an interesting piece of furniture in the lounge but the wife isn't so keen. Found a Jim Dunlop bass wah too but I don't even remember buying that.

Both cabs are 1x10". When I was 16 it sounded like the best bass amp in the world ever, 21 years later and it may not be quite so impressive. I'll give it a go at the weekend, will take a while to clean up first.

Yep. Only seriously getting into bass again recently after a break from bands in general and rhythm guitar duties before that. The amp got shoved in the loft when I moved into the house about 7 years ago and I practically forgotten it existed prior to that. Out of sight, out of mind I guess.

Plugged it in and everything works fine, one of the pots is a little scratchy but that is disappearing with use. Could do with a proper clean. Regarding the sound (obviously a very subjective area) but it is much 'bigger' than a typical 30W practise amp, not necessarily louder if you get what I mean.

Not looking to sell thanks matey, I'll use this in place of the guitar combo I was practising with. Cheers all the same.

Sorry to revive an ancient thread. I'm putting this amp on ebay over the weekend however I'd be interested in a swap for something larger - 100w plus. I don't care if amp/cab or combo or if scruffy, as long as the amp functions as it should.

If only I had the money! Wow, so much fun right there! I'll look out for it on eBay as I'd be interested to see how much it goes for. What price are you putting on it? My Combo version won't be going anywhere!
