Tee Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 I was just wondering what sets these two heads apart. I'm not talking cosmetically, nor the fact that one is from the SVT range and the other, from the B series. Both are solid state and have exactly the same power rating etc (450w @ 4 Ohms). I have noticed however the B2-RE's power amp is MOSFET, while the 450's is 'Solid State'. How do the two differ? Is Mosfet less powerful? Otherwise, they have exactly the same features. Does the price difference relate to the SVT badge and the housing alone? Is anyone able to enlighten me, as this one has bugged me for a while now. Thank you.
