  1. Its A belter, used in a seperate loop you can have just add some real thinder to your sound. A real game changer I found! What custom dirt did you get fella!?!?!?
  2. If you get chance to play one you wont regret it!! The Tk is insane as well, would love one but I dont have the need, just the lust haha! He's working on a smaller version of the T65 I here which would be interesting! As far as dirt goes I am a COG whore. Currently leaning mahoosively on the Darklighter!
  3. It tracks sooooo much sweeter than any other I've tried sounds huge too, does wonders for when you really want to kick it up!
  4. Back to one post, happy days haha!
  5. I've just picked up this absolute gem of a pedal! Anyone else got an insane amount of love for COG at the minute?? Had a few pedals for quite a while now, keep going back for more.... Sexy video for those uninitiated https://youtu.be/UEvfbd4c6ZM
  6. Tbf I didn't like the clean either, didnt stand up to the samsamp. Or the DI out on the gK RB. Was gutted as got loads of people praising it!
  7. Worth trying the COG Darklighter, I use it a hell of a lot in ckean tones with a touch of grit but also to compliment the distortion and fuzz tones when you really want to kick it up a gear. Saying that the Knightfall is a belter so if you did want that sound too the dual knightfall would have been a winner. Played one a while back and its never left my thoughts. It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
  8. Also totally agree with the comments on the MXR di, load of tosh and not cheap to find that out either
  9. Got to be the COG effects TK-421-X if we are talking rat based drive with a blend. I have one and its an animal. So much brutality but equaly balanced with its low pass filters. The fuzzrocious nor the MXR ever quite cut it for me but christ this animal does
  10. Dude, don't forget your power supply is for life, you may chop/change/add pedals at the drop of a hat whereas the PSU will stay throughout so I highly recommend getting something worthy. I have a diago powerstation and it's incredible, wether I am running just the one or my board with 7 pedals. No noise whatsoever and no worries about having enough/the right power. Granted paying double what the pedal cost for the PSU may seem a bit daft, but remember with all your gear its an investment so it's worth taking the one off hit and getting the right thing for the job. Batteries are a hassle not to mention a never ending cost and a cheap PSU may not have the shelf live of the higher models or be as likely to handle all your pedals/any set up changes you may have. Cheap is not the way!
  11. Beautiful bass, I have a Japanese '88 with a natural finish, It's an absolute pleasure to play
  12. Tarkin Fuzz, Excellent choice! It's one hell of a pedal and is now my stock sound. Wise work my friend!
  13. Swapped an AMPEG SVT2 premier rig for a beautiful GK rig, excellent transaction with a great chap! Highly recommended!
