1. Yeah it's the same in active or passive, the switch itself males the buzzing worse when you touch it
2. It happens on each of my amps, and through protools regardless of cable, and my ltd basses are absolutely fine. And the ibanez has also been tested at my guitarists house where the problem continued
3. Need some help, I got this bass earlier this year and there's a horrible buzz which stops with a pop when I touch the hardware, and there's a scratching when I play up and down the neck. It's been back to the store and the distributer. Is this normal?!
4. Hello, Just dug out my old Marshall rig, a 3530 300 head (not a diamond jubilee) and 412 dbs cab, wondering if anyone know where I can find a manual or give me general information about them. Cheers
5. Hello, Just got myself a lovely Ibanez prestige er5005, just got a few questions hopefully someone can help me out. When I run this bass with the active eq on through my Hartke hydrive 5210c (active input)is seems some what quieter than my esp Ltd F-415fm. I assume this is down to the passive pick ups? Also because they're passive pickups should I really be running it through the passive input even though I have the active eq on? Thanks for the help.
6. Yeah that's the one, ive read that the mxr pedals have massive tone suck, but that's always been in relation to it guitat pedal counter parts.
7. Has anyone tried this pedal? Is there is any tone suck and how bad it is.
8. hi, currently looking to replace my current Digitech series bass driver with the lovely MXR m80. However im curious where to place in my chain because of the DI. I go through a tuner and Wah into my current distortion, can I just flat out swap the pedals or should the m80 come and the start now?
9.
Sounds like a perfectly good signal chain to me. Yeah, I would put the Whammy second in your chain, just after your TU-2, helps with tracking to send it as pure a signal as possible. Personally I like to have my compressor near the start of the chain, after my tuner in fact, but that's all personal preference as well, as it helps having a compressor in front of any octavers or synths. As far as wah before/after your distortion pedals, big personal preference. The wah sound is much more extreme and pronounced when placed AFTER the gain units, think Timmy C, but I prefer to have my distortions after my Wah.
Thats great thanks for your help. as withthe wah/dist i will record a track wit hit each way and see what i prefer, thanks again
10. Hello one and all, ok so it's been a while since i used any effets for my bass so i've been doing a little research online about thebest way to set them up. So i was looking to you guys and girls out there for some assistance or advice if you would be so kind to enlighten me. so im running my Esp LTD f series 5 strings through the boss TU-2 tuner>> Morley Dual bass wah>>Digitech Bass Driver>>Electro Harmonix Big Muff>>Boss BF-3 Flanger>>compressor (which i will be getting shortly when i can afford it from DHA) and into amp/mbox2 from what i can tell online thats pretty good setup. I have read that people tend to liek to have the wah after the distortion , however i understand thats thats down to personal preference. what do ya think? In Theory... p.s. where should a Whammy pedal come in the chain? i assumed near the start of the chain
