  1. I know this is a pretty basic question but... For the entirety of my bass playing time I've used an amp that has some sort of indicator that it's about to clip or is recieving too high a signal (be that a little red light or whatever). However, I'm thinking of getting an amp which just so happens to not have this, so how can I tell I'm running too hard without damaging my head? Thanks, JJJ
  2. Hello, Just wondered if anyone had paired a 2x15 with a 4x10, and how it compares to a 1x15 with a 4x10? Thanks JJJ
  3. Hello there, I've been looking at buying a Mesa Big Block 750. It's second hand and (apparently) has only been used for practices. It seems in very good nick from what I've seen, so what would you guys consider a fair offer for it? Thanks, JJJ
  4. I believe it is the 500w model. And by refurbished I mean they checked it over and generally gave it some TLC. Nothing major, they didn't replace the tubes as they had just been replaced by the previous owner. It's in good nick, some minor surface scratches on the cases but nothing more. And i think it's about 3 years old. Thanks,
  5. Hello, I've been looking into getting a new rig recently and have come across the following: SVT-3 Pro head (rack comes with it) 4x10 ampeg cab w/ horn 1x15 ampeg cab It is a few years old, seen some gig time and has just been refurbished by the store about a week ago. The shop hasn't got back to me yet if they are B series or SVT series cabs, but they are wanting £1100 for the lot. If the cabs are SVT series is this a fair price to pay? and if they are B series is this a fair price to pay? Thanks in advance for any help
