hello, i need to restring my electro acoustic bass. its got the same ones on it from when i got it (about 18 months ago) so they sound dull and a bit sh*t. what strings are recommended? i use elites on my electric. can you use electric strings ? if anyone has some advice it would be much appreciated cheerz

yea i was trying to push the straplocks onto the strap buttons fitted to the bass. i dont think the straplocks have locking pins. they push over the buttons from the side but the buttons are to big. did you use straplocks in the end? cheerz

i always take a spare but have never used it yet. ive broken a few srings at practice but i think thats down to playing for such a long time in one go. i wouldnt want to have to restring in the middle of a gig im nervous enough as it is
