1. Hey thanks, yeah I noticed that when pushed it can start to distort, and the lows can get a bit too muddy... it's a nice amp, but not a forever amp, definitely going to need to go for a head and cab option again.
2. Just managed to get a Nemesis Eden NC200, the 2x10 model. I just moved to the US, so brought my Mark Bass head with me... it didn't have a switch, so can't use it. So would cost more to have it changed over. so got this, sold that to someone in the UK. Now have this, so got it for $250, with delivery, so not bad... like, 159 quid. So tried it out, sounds nice and loud, and for the first time in my amp life, I've got a horn in my combo! Which is nice, my Ashdown 4x8 mini ABM, was nice and tight, but no horn... so this has, so I like the sound upto now. joined a metal band in the US, so got some big strings to tune down to drop B, BF#BE... was worried the 2x10 wouldn't handle the B too well... but it is absolutely fine! Thinking about getting a 1x15 now when I get some more money. Anyone else used these amps?
3. Just updated mine with some older stuff, and newer stuff... nothing from the current as of yet though! Some punk, acoustic, prog, metal, math www.soundcloud.com/leewithabass -Lee with a bass
4. Not really man, I just put it on for a 99p starting price, so needs to go, so I suppose whatever it goes for, it goes for. Sorry about that lack of info!
5. Selling my BOSS ME-50B Multieffects processor and carry bag on Ebay, thought i'd just give the notice whilst it is up... It's in good condition, selling because I moved to another country, where it doesn't work. So need to get rid of it. It's in the UK ready to be shipped. 10. Hey, just a demo jam of Tripentacube. Kev put it together on FL Studio, brought it in, we practised it... and practised it......... and practised it... it's still in development with the band, and sometimes with us too! Anyway yeah, it's mainly in 15/4, with the odd bits of 4/4 in there too. Recorded on the video camera, and to add to the nervous energy, thought we'd throw in a strobe light, to compliment Kev's polyrhthyms! 11. A little bit of folk, punk, blues, acoustic music tomorrow night in Liverpool, from Liverpool, and Bristol and the USA! FACEBOOK EVENT: http://www.facebook....279096432131401 Yam Yam Punk presents from Basement 20, Hardman Street, Liverpool... 29 November · 19:00 - 23:00 Basement 20, Hardman Street, Liverpool £3 door. First band at 8. Night not to be missed for fans of Frank Turner, The Hold Steady, Billy Bragg, Jefrey Lewis, Folk, Punk... Franz Nicolay FolknPunk from Brooklyn! Delighted to have Franz Nicolay visiting Liverpool as part of his extensive UK tour. Former member of the Hold Steady who has collaborated with the likes of Frank Turner, The Bouncing Souls and in a recent tour with Against me! Franz comes to Liverpool equipped with keys, acoustic guitar, banjo, accordian and a striking voice to compliment his sentimental story telling with gripping melodies. Check out 'The Ballad of Holling Wadsworth Mason Jr.' Franz has a pretty good moustache. www.facebook.com/franznicolay The Lees The middle of a folk sandwich, just how they like it. Yam favourite The Lees bring folk punk and comedy with sing along tunes, reminiscent of when I R Baboon, Weasel and johnny cash became one and listened to operation Ivy. Underrated, and underheard(?) recently as their gig schedule has slowed, The Lees for us are stil one of the most captivating, original scouse bands at the moment. Look out for Lee Rotheram's artwork on the night which will be in front of your face wherever you are standing. Check out 'Don't f*** with the law' www.facebook.com/iwanttobealee Chris T-T Franz also comes equipped with Chris T-T, an exciting and accomplished folk musician in his own right. A prolific songwriter, Chris has released seven studio albums and has a unique, accomplished style with songs containing society reflections and poetic utterings. Check out 'Preaching to the Converted' and also Chris' musical tranposition of the words of AA Milne! http://christt.bandcamp.com/
12. I usually partake in a bit of Soundcloud via: http://soundcloud.com/iwanttobealee A big mix of band music and then other stuff too... -Lee
