2. As others have said it's probably down to bassists being pretty unnecessary in a lot of modern music. Lots of stuff is just done with computers. That Daft Punk bassist with the cool space helmet on could help. We need to see more of him
  3. Bump for price drop. Also check out the Cab I have for sale. These 2 together are a really nice fit. Great tone and plenty of punch: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/222117-for-sale-genz-benz-focus-rt-4-x-10-600w-bass-cab/
  4. Price dropped to £180 You wont get more bang for your buck than this.
  5. The Focus cab should be gone tomorrow. Just the GK head to go now.
  6. Bump for price drop and added pics. This is a superb cab at this price and the Genz is even better. Add the GK Fusion and you have the perfect rig.
  7. Hey all Selling a great British design Ashdown MAG 115 cab. It's 250 W and 8 Ohm. I'm after £65 ONO It's a great cab for the money. Good condition apart from the odd minor scuff and a small scratch on the back. Pick up only please near Liverpool John EDIT[s] Pictures to come later[/s] Pictures added and Price Drop Also Please take a look at the GK Fusion head and Genz Benz 4 x 10 cab I'm selling. I'll take £650 for the amp and both cabs: http://basschat.co.u...00w-micro-head/ http://basschat.co.u...-600w-bass-cab/
  8.
Very interested I you would ship?? Obviously ill pay?
I'd prefer someone to pick it up tbh, sorry man
  9.
Good luck with the sale type mini bump. I have one of these and i love it. It drives a 6 piece metal band on tickover power, but beautiful clean and toppy tones in it too with minimal fuss.
Thanks man. Very kind of you. It is an amazing amp. I'm sorry to let her go. It sounds absolutely stunning through the Genz Benz cab I'm selling http://basschat.co.uk/topic/222117-for-sale-genz-benz-focus-rt-4-x-10-600w-bass-cab/
  10. Hi all I have a Genz Benz Focus LT 4x10 8 ohm cab for sale. It's hardly been used. It's in good condition apart from minor scuffs on the corner protectors and a minor scuff on the back. Obviously this won't affect the performance. It's a top cab and quite small and light considering it's a 4x10. I'm after [s]£200[/s] £180 for her. Pick up only please. I'm based near Liverpool. If you are interested please send me msg John The file uploader is having a wobble if you need more pictures let me know Review Here: http://www.genzbenz....&sid=704&cid=96 Also for Sale: GK MB Fusion head. 12.
It's not the best of places for selling but worth a try, Northwest music exchange, hopefully link following. Good luck 0 North West Music Equipment Swap Shop
Cheers karlfer I'll cehck it out. Make me a reasonable offer chaps
  13.
It's well worth trying Gumtree - my personal approach is to sell "locally" for cash.... but have also done PayPal transactions on there. Fascinated to see if you can transact this for Bitcoin though.... I think that might be a first in these parts!
Thanks I will look into GumTree. I don't think anyone wants to part with BitCoins at the moment but I figure some early adopters will be cashing in on their good fortune.
You'd be very lucky to get that on fee bay - sold a mint 2011 us like yours for £700 and I was lucky to do so . It took months . You are being very hasty IMHO Gumtree is strictly cash and collect/meet. You get 7 days for free then pay after. I've had some success with it.
Cheers man. Maybe you're right. I might hang fire for a few more days and see if I get any interest. Gumtree might be worth a try too. If I can avoid Ebay I will because I hear new scams every day. My Brother in Law wanted a trailer and saw one on Ebay. Contacted them and they wanted to deliver it but my BIL insisted on picking it up and had to force an address off the guy. Went to buy it, turns out the guy at the address who owned it wasn't even selling it. They were posting pictures of other peoples stuff and then stealing to order.
You may want to edit post #5 so it reads the same as post #1. Less confusion then. Be very careful with FEEBay, you need to put a decent reserve on. In the last few weeks a 60 Anni has gone for £666 and an 81 Fullerton for £675. Both of those a year ago would have been pushing £900 and more. It really is a very difficult time to sell and that is very much reflected in the price paid for basses that have actually sold. You really do need to have that difficult patience thing. Good luck, KARL.
Thanks KARL. Have edited the post, thanks for pointing that out. I think I've been persuaded to wait a while longer Plus I can try GumTree and see which delivers first. I'd rather deal with people here if possible.
  14.
I'd give it a bit longer - the market is slow here and eBay fees are heavy Try Gumtree also
Thanks for the advice man. Maybe I'm being too hastey here but I've been surprised at the lack of interest. I'll set the price at more like £750 - £800 on Ebay to compensate for the fees. Plus it's a far bigger market than here. I've never used GumTree. Do people send the money first before you ship?
