1. im trying to figure out which multy fx to get at the moment as well i had a go on the boss me50g and the wha wha was awsome, but i want something more indepth, amp modeling isnt esential for me but id like somthing that u can set the expretion pedal to alot of perameters like modulation and gigable (heavy duty ish), i was wodering if all the boss muties had the same wha wha? or if wny one could point me in the direction of a multy that suits these needs, much apreatiated, thanks
2. interesting and u'r right i listend more carfully and u can hear the fretts when they slide, thanks

6. i found EQing the kick before putting on a noise gate helps keep the kick sounding good and not sacrificing to much whilst clearing of the clutter
7. KRK's are good, alot of my mates who produce music use them
8. fair play shambala's guna be amazing when are u on? ive heard engin earz are playing on the kamakaze stage and molotove jukebox are playing sum were, i dont know if u like ska/breaks/dubby hip hop/funky stuff but the band i'm in managed to get a slot threw a competition to play on the chai wallah stage at 5:50 on the friday if u fancy checking us out. and yea that does explain it thanks i hadn't thought of that
9.
Sadly (in a way) I NEED the city. I adore the country so i get some of that when I go fishing. Which village are you in then? I lived in the middle of Llanfihangel-ar-Arth and Llandysul in a traditional Welsh stone cottage overlooking the Teifi valley with an iron age hill fort on the other side where me and my mates from Cov would go camping and injest the local mushrooms. Happy days! I used to work as an illustrator in Carmarthen Museum in Abergwili , that was one of the nicest jobs I've ever had!
nuts i grew up in chapel dewi like a mile away from Llanfihangel-ar-Arth and my dads a landscape artist who studied some illustration coarse in Carmarthen, i still sample the local mushrooms did they grow in the park in llandysul back then? welcome king bollock, and good luck with ur search for people to make music with im sure u will ive had no trouble and i live even more in the sticks than u in a village called drefach but then im not realy into Thrash/Death/Black/Blackened Death music
10. wow thanks for sharing, check this one out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eu1bEsloGYM...feature=related
11. also when ur playing with submotion i noticed ur drummer as ridiculously tight as he is isn't playing to a click track, when u use modulation do u use tap tempo or is that ruckspins handy work?
12. haha u guy's were awesome at sunrise i well enjoyed u'r set, ur not playing at shambala this year are u?
13. +1 ibanez sr for ease of play and versatility its the best bass i've played/owned, its got a really thin neck but still has plenty of spacing at the pick ups the eqs and ridiculously sensitive, one problem with it is that the E sting is louder than the other strings just slightly this can be used as an advantage
14. also id like to add how interesting it is how little credit you guys give the punters im shore most of them can hear the difference between a good and bad bass tone even if its at a sub-conches level that dictates whether or not they dance or walk away because "this band is sh*t"
15.
If I go to a gig I make a point to make sure the engineer mixes me in the FOH how it sounds through my rig, otherwise the band ends up sounding like every other generic Indie pop rock band.
ive got a gig coming up where ive heard the sound guy before and he equed the bass of every band as if they were a raggae dub band, what are the most diplomatic ways of telling a sound guy to not to eq your bass at the moment im thinking of putting a note on the channel list? id love to know because its a big gig that is going to be recorded and filmed, thanks
