1.
Its not open till the 5 April. People who have seen this is going to be very limited.
Ah of course ... my bad! Thanks EBS_Freak.
  2. . Has no-one been yet? Surely not!
  3. . Hey guys, Has anyone been to the Rolling Stones Exhibitionism at The Sachi Gallery in London yet? I'm curious to hear what it's like and if it's worth attending, because I'll be in England in July. There's no decent photos or videos of it that I can find. Anyone had a look yet? Thanks, Greg
  4.
you can listen live or hit the 'on demand' button and listen at your convenience!
Unless I'm mistaken I have to buy a magazine and t-shirt in order to become a "VIP member" and be able to access the On Demand function. I don't really want to do that.
  5.
Duff's biography is essential reading too. Amazing in fact.
+1 A couple of weeks ago I had never bought a Guns 'n' Roses album in my life. I read Duff's biography and became a fan instantly. I went out and bought three albums!
  6. This is my favourite Duff clip. Not a particularly technical pair of basslines by any means, but Duff pumps! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooiWiVoBmQw
  7. I am dying to hear this show! But being in Australia I can't receive the broadcast! Is it ever recorded and podcast later or anything like that? Is anyone thinking of recording it themselves? Help!!!!

    New Zoom B3
There's about 100 different Zoom B3 patches there that you can download into "Edit & Share" and try out in your own B3.
Update: The library is now down to 60-odd patches because someone from TB (not me!) accidently deleted the entire set! Luckily I had 60 backed up on my PC so i put them back in there. I had it set up so that anyone could upload/download. The unfortunate side-effect is that anyone could remove files too! I don't think the permissions can be separated in Google docs as far as I can tell. Sorry guys!
Re the B3, is there an easy way to edit patches I`ve created/stored myself, as I can`t find one at present (am rubbish with anything technical)? For example, the other day, I just wanted to up the compression level on the 3 patches I`ve saved - there must be an easy way to do this.
Couldn't be simpler: 1. Open the patch (hold the LHS button down until the three effects contained within are displayed), tweak the compression effect however you want to. 2. Close the patch (hold the LHS button down until the name of the patch is displayed in the middle screen) and your new settings are automatically saved over your old ones. 3. Repeat for the next patch. It's a good idea (no, actually a GREAT idea) to download Zoom Edit & Share and backup any/all patches you create. Editing them in Edit & Share is pretty cool! Oh, and upload them to the Zoom B3 Patch Library (for everyone to share) too of course! .

    .
It's all more boxes, more boxes, MORE BOXES! I thought the whole idea is that it's a one box fix for all your bass playing woes. Guess not.
I've never owned/carried a single DI box in 20+ years of playing. The sound guy always has them in his collection of gear. If not then I'll just crank my amp up and let him worry about mixing the rest of the band to match my volume level!

    .
You can use a stereo jack to jack (or jack to phono) to a mixer though. The left hand output will give a stereo signal.
Good idea Dave. If it's a line level signal (I'm not 100% sure what it is, I assume line level) then you're right.

    .
Nice one Gregg, I thought Zoom would have their own user group but I can't see one? This though is very useful. Cheers
Enjoy Tony!
What's the point of stereo effects if you can only send a mono feed to the desk?
Two separate leads out of the L/R channels into two separate DI boxes then onto the desk?
  15. . I think we're lucky we got a bass version of the G3 off them! They don't even plan to upgrade the firmware of the B3 to accomodate six effects in a patch.
