  1. I spent a while playing a pretty spiffing Pino at Bassgear once. Whether it was this one or not, who knows.......
  2. Yeah, that gave me a good chuckle. Real purdy Alembic though

  5. +1 for Si Throughly good chap, had a brief but pleasant meet in Guildford to complete our trade. The man has resources! - sourced a great MM Bongo as a partial trade against my Trussart. His comms pre meet were also commendable, always got back to me quickly. Highly recommended forum member in whatever capacity you might wish to deal with him.
  6. Tis kind of buried in that body of text, cracking bass though!
  7. A nice Martin dreadnaught is something everyone should have in their arsenal, and I just happen to have one for sale... Bought this about five years ago, and it has been coddled with only occasional light home use since. As such condition is near mint, nothing in particular to report - no real scratches, dents, and no appreciable fretwear. Includes original TKL/Martin case, which is also in good nick. Looking for £600 ONO for this... 8. Although I've never personally had the pleasure of playing a Godin bass, I have owned both a kingpin P90 and a freeway. Build and setup was unparalleled at this price point, still highly underappreciated in the grand scheme of things.
  9. Ouch! That is on the long side, I suppose picking one up used might mitigate both wait time and price....
  10. Thanks for the kind words. Yep, it's not for nothing that Trussarts are frequently referred to as 'works of art'!
  11. I notice I haven't added my location. I'm based near Winchester, Hampshire. I realise i'm new here, so I can provide some ebay/other forum references to demonstrate i'm legit.
  12. Ok so this might be a long shot, but I figure it's worth a go. On my end I have a 2006 near mint James Trussart Deluxe Steelcaster. It features a spiffing two tone blue over grey finish with 'holey' perforated back. Options include '62 neck profile, engraved 'roses' pickguard and headstock, six saddle bridge, seymour duncan pickups etc. Condition is 95% mint - only thing to note is one very small (negligible) chip in the fretboard. I'm looking for a high end bass of equivalent value 4/5/6 string, active or passive, just try me! I could also work with cash on top of a slightly cheaper bass... If anyone wishes to purchase it in a straight sale i'm looking for £1700 ONO (trade value is probably higher). Ultimately a wonderful guitar but I could do with a pro bass rig right now, so one way or another it has to go.
