Hi, I've had my ashdown amp for around a year, whilst I was playing I smelt a burning and then my amp was very distorted, not as loud. Could anybody give me any advice as to what this could be. Thanks Tristan

Thanks, Basically, im not an expert at all. I just play bass in a band, have a Fender MIM Active Jazz that im really pleased with. I was thinking that I want to buy a really nice head so I can build on the amp rather than exchanging cheap combo's all the time. I have not got a cab or head yet and am just after some advice. I thought that £350 was a decent price to pay for a head but i maybe wrong! Somebody point me in the right direction ha! And thanks for the advice so far. X
