1. LEFTY G&L L2500 almost-vintage 5-string Bass Guitar. Natural Blonde finish. In excellent condition. Alder body, Maple Neck w/ Maple fingerboard showing beautiful wood grain. Weighs 9.5lbs. G&L Saddle-Lock Bridge. G&L Magnetic Field Humbuckers have individual adjustable pole pieces. Tri-Tone active/passive electronics. Built Nov 3, 1998 in Fullerton, CA. American made, authentic G&L Bass. SN# CL07648 registered with G&L. This is not a cheaper foreign-made Tribute model. In 1997, G&L basses underwent an improvement in build quality by going to a much stronger 6-bolt neck design which this one has. The headstock has the classic "bump" design. This bass is all original, with the exception of a really nicely done MUTE switch which has been added below the other micro switches. SEE PHOTO…it's really cool and blends in perfectly with the design... The controls on a G&L are as follows: Master Volume knob 3-way pickup selector switch Treble knob active/passive switch Bass knob Preamp Off/On/On w/ treble boost mute switch (custom) This is a very sweet sounding and playing bass. The only wear mark is a slight discoloration spot on the end of the headstock. It is nicely balanced and very comfortable to wear. Includes hardshell case. Also has matching Schaller Strap-Lock buttons. £1000 - Please call me on 07795 116666
 2. Ooh, and Charic - I'll have my Eden WT300 there, a Warwick 8x10 and some other bits and bobs. Are any other left-handed players coming along to the bash?
 3.
I did some recording last week at Sham Studios (and forgot to pick up my guitar stand Biggsy ) It's a great place to hold the Bash. I'll be along with a JV Squier Precision, Barefaced Compact and whatever amp I'm using at the time. Looking forward to it and meeting fellow BCers. Steve.
Just spotted this Steve! A mystery guitar stand has had Carl and I confused all week - case now closed I know Carl was interested in doing a deal with you on your Selmer; next time you're down our way we can return your stand and talk valves! (P.S, the mix's are turning out well - should all be finished by Saturday evening )
 4. No probs! There's a good hog-roast company locally too if you want me to get some details.
 5.
Provisionally booked for 24th June at Sham Studios in Somersham. Owned by our very own Biggsy who should be along later with a raft of details for you all! I've used these rooms in the past with my band and they should work great for what we need
Thanks Ric! 6.
The other post says its a '98? Nice looking bass btw
Good shout - it's a '98! Cheers
 7. Hi guys, my wife and I are expecting our first child in July so I'm thinking of selling my nicest bass to raise some cash. It's an '89 USA made G&L L2500 5 string, and an absolute beauty. Here's a link to the original owner's for sale post: linky I'm in for a grand, and that's what I'd like back. Any interest?
 8.
Any left-handers out there?
We're all in here: Lefty thread
 9.
Warwick Streamer LX serial number g078207 00 5 String Fretless Lefthanded Honey Violin Oil Finish Flamed Maple Body Ovangkol Neck Gold Hardware Brass Nut Sounds awesome fitted with Aguilar 18v Pre £675 + Postage
Hey Patch, Lovely Streamer! Would you consider a P/X against an active 4-string fretted Warwick Corvette Pro-Line by any chance?
 10.
It seems like you're not getting my messages. I'm offering full price + all additional fees. Could you please message me?
I have been offering the same, with a local pickup - I have since received a friendly warning from a concerned (and upstanding) basschatter who objectively described his dealings with 'thesomething' as less than favourable. One of the reasons being poor communications - and he's not wrong! For that reason - I'm out.
 11.
yep still for sale
PM'd..
 12. I'll come! Happy to pay in advance if it'll help at this short notice. I can bring my Hellborg amp and an Eden WT300 if anyone would like to try them, but won't be able to bring a cab. I'll probably bring a couple of lefty basses too P.S, Dood, I'm really keen to see your TC effects!
 13.
not the best listing, almost looks suspicious
Almost, would definately be a leap of faith purchasing on the description alone. It's pointlessly elaborate to be a scam I think, found this picture; Seems a bit expensive though, considering it's missing parts and needs work. Did the LX5 ever go for £2500? Warwick prices seem to have gone up over the last few years and it's RRP is currently £1700, even though you can buy them new for £1300.
