  1. As new condition. This was for a planned project that never happened. I unpacked it, had a quick trial and then put it back in the box. £70 collected. If you want it posted, cost will be around a fiver.

  2. That would work, although for a sound connection he would still need to remove or at least loosen the bridge.
  3. If you have got the correct tools and are confident using them, then go for it. if not take it to a good tech. IF you are going to attempt a diy job, I would advise ordering two replacement nuts, then you’ll have a spare when you mess up the first one 😄
  4. If it was mine, I would be replacing the nut. 👍
  5. He is a bit sweary 😂 but that aside is very good.
  6. Good tip. Also get the iron properly hot when soldering to pot cases, 420 degrees is good but be quick, don't leave the iron touching the metal for too long.
  7. That's a shame, thanks for letting me know.
  8. Keep it friendly then we won't have to start with the moderating👍
  9. I had to learn this a few years back, loved it. It was a challenging number for the band, I can still clearly remember how pleased we felt when we first played it. I can also clearly remember how unimpressed the audience were and how much happier they were when we moved on to Mustang Sally, Alright Now and Love Shack 🙄
  10. Impressive work.🙂
  11. If the strings are getting old, do yourself a favour and put a new set on and then intonate. If there is still an issue, check neck relief, string height, pick up height and fret work. I also inspected the nut slot, the string wants to be sitting correctly on the edge of the nut on the fretboard side. If it’s still not right, I would check that the bridge is correctly positioned in terms of scale length.
  12. Thoroughly enjoyed reading about your bass journey Jack.
  13. Gallien Krueger foot switch and their own branded cable. This can be used for channel selecting on the Fusion amps. It lived in my gig bag and is unused. Can be collected or I'll post for around a fiver.
  14. Even though I've now sold my gig rig and spare amp, I feel a bit reluctant to sell this bag, as it took me a lot of searching to track down at the time. A great, nicely padded bag. I used it for a few years but it's still in very good condition. All of the zips function as they should, there are no rips and as can be seen in the photos, very little wear. Size is approx. 30 cm x 30 cm. 34 cm high. £35 £30 £25 collected. If you want it posted, then I estimate that it will be an additional £7-£8.
  15. Another straight forward and smooth transaction with Tom. Once again I can say that I'm happy to recommend.
