  1. Hi - just found your original posting after much searching for a decent tab. It appears that the file is no longer available on the website, and wonder if you'd email it to me. Many thanks. P.S. I can certainly relate to the comment about reading both tabs and notes....
  2. No longer availble - traded for fretless semi

  4. Just bought the Elite II PB from Gareth; accurately described and a fair price. Good to deal with - happy to recommend.

    Intro

Hi to everyone who takes the trouble to read this... I'm retired (early, though now fast approaching bus-pass time), and when I thought about how to fill my days I decided I'd like to pick up music again - I'd played double bass at school. Now as you'll know, a double bass is a bugger to have around the house, so I decided to go for a bass guitar; took a few lessons to get the basics, and then teamed up with a couple of friends to make music - well, that's what we call it. We're not great, but have been appreciated at a few open mic nights at local pubs. We also have another couple of guys join us for some heavier sounds. I started with a Mex JB, which I upgraded with Noiseless PUs and a Badass II bridge, then got a cheap EAB (an Acepro) for practice (so as not to annoy the wife/cat/neighbours). Then I got a Yamaha BB615, which I'm still not sure was a good move; an Ibanez EWB replaced the Acepro for performance quality (we occasionally do an acoustic club); and then lastly I picked up a Mex PB which is fast becoming my favourite for the 5-piece I play with. Hopefully, in time I might get to play well...
