1. I played mine for a full gig for the first time on Saturday, completely stock (apart from the strings). I'm so impressed with this bass, it didn't miss a beat. When I think that it cost a fraction of the bass I usually use, I may get another (always take a spare) and retire the expensive toys for special occasions.

3. nope, there is a lot of white space within your source code, the code that makes the site, not the bit you see. Yep I'd definitely move them up into the header. I'd also be of a mind to change the 3 lines to 'menu', there is no obvious way of showing the menu.
4. Looks good my only comment would if you have facebook and twitter add the icons next to the mail icon in the header. Being really pedantic, remove the white space from your source, it will speed up loading times.
5. Thank you. Monstrous, for a 250w head it is quite scary. I use the SVT modeller with a bit of dirt and compression on the B3, I can then punch in some chorus or more dirt using the toneprints on the BH250. If I need any more power I can DI into the PA. My back loves it ;-)
6. I imagine I've seen many during my time behind the desk, couldn't name them though.
7. The guy who looked at it is in the know, so that road has already been travelled. Thanks though.
8. Well depressingly my TC Classic 450 head has gone pop, all the lights but no output. I think it may be the input stage as there is no activity on the compressor LEDs, which I would expect if the input stage was working correctly. Anyway, thinking of junking the TC rig as sending to Sheffield to be presented with a rather large bill is not on my list of priorities at the moment. Thinking of maybe one of the new Ashdown 420 rootmasters as they are local to me, any issues I can pop it the car and deliver by hand. Does anyone have any experience of these heads in general and also when pairing them with a TC RS210 and a TC 212 stack?
9. The finish on the J&D is top notch...when I first took it out a fellow bass player thought it was some boutique thing as he had never heard of the name...silly sod
10. this, put some decent strings on it ans save some pennies
11. I've built quite a few band sites in my time (for my bands and for others) as well as other business sites. You could probably get away with an about.me page in the first instance. A good background image, bio and links to all your media outputs should build you come interest. mine is here to give you an idea After that I would suggest going for a good WordPress template and then linking in as many of your social accounts for content as possible. There are plugins available for most social sites and you can even auto post site news back to the social sites to attract traffic. If you want to do everything on site you can as well, a good plugin for gig listings is Gigpress. here's one I put together for a friend recently : clickety click
