Just changed the Strings on my L2500 and the ball ends on the Elixirs I've just bought are too large for Thru body stringing, anybody else had this problem?

In the instruction manual, theres a section under miscellaneous that explains why it's happened. It happens if it senses extreme Temps, if you plug a non TC cab with a jack connection, if you use a Speakon to Jack cable or if you disconnect the cab while the head is still switched on. All it suggests is to switch the head off and leave it for a while before powering it back up again. Is the peak light flashing also?

Would absolutely recommend the Big Twin, collected mine a couple of months ago after using 2 BC212 with the TC BH500 head for 5 years. I can absolutely say that it's transformed my sound, I would struggle to get good top end from the TC cabs and now I have no issue. I play in a LOUD rock band and even though it's one cab, I can hear myself no problem without monitoring, even with our drummer, and he hits hard. Alex is a great guy, when I first spoke to him there was an issue with cost (what I could afford at the time from the BF range would have been inadequate for my needs) and he then gave me advice on how I could improve my sound with the equipment I had. Top bloke. Also, I can't believe how lightweight the cab is, a real bonus when you have a shoulder problem like myself!
